This book is so suspenseful! last blog, I uncovered that Daniel had been waiting in Jason's car after practice, and now things are getting intense!

When Jason starts the car, Daniel immediately pulls a knife to Jason's neck. From there, Jason drives to a bog near a river, where Daniel torments Jason to get back at everything he had done. The old Daniel is uncovered, and before Daniel has the nerve to kill Jason, reality hits. Daniel threatens Jason to never tell, and leaves him without another word. Back at the hospital, Trixie lie asleep as Laura watched her carefully. 

The next day, Trixie returns home from the hospital to find Zephyr waiting. Zephyr had heard about the accident, and had come to apologize. They had both missed their best friends. Later that day, the family went to see Marita Soorenstad, the District Attorney. From her clues, she concludes that Trixie is lying. However, when Trixie admits to her lies, and spills of how she doesn't remember much from the night, Bartholemew and Marita decide to test for a date rape drug that could've put Trixie unconscious. 

Ketamine was the drug found in Trixies blood, and would be used against Jason in trial. Things were looking better for Trixie, but still not perfect
