The professional sport I most enjoy watching is Baseball. So for my third blog, I decided to read about the Twins-White Sox preview, before the tie breaker in Chicago tonight! Lately, the Twins have had some great games, and I hope they can pull it off for the American League title.
The article pretty much is a recap of the Twins and White Sox past games. During the two team’s most recent 3 game series, Twins swept the White Sox at home. These were key wins for the Twins, putting them a half a game up on the White Sox. Unfortunately, the WS dominated their last two scheduled games against Cleveland and Detroit, tying the Twins for the league title. According to the article, neither team has been very successful when playing away; Twins have a 2-7 record at the Chicago U.S. cellular field, and WS have a 1-8 record this season at the dome. Tonight, in Chicago, Blackburn will start off on the mound for the Twins, and John Danks for the WS to break the tie for the AL title.
I really hope the Twins can pull it off tonight in Chicago! I’m a little nervous though, finding the team has a 2-7 record at the Cellular stadium. Blackburn is such a great pitcher, so I am especially excited to see him on the mound. The Twins have worked so hard this season, and obviously have dominated the Sox at the dome, so they deserve the AL title. GO TWINS!
